    Description

    Integration Specialist

    The Integration Specialist plays a crucial role in implementing integration solutions and leveraging the capabilities of the WebLogic Integration product. This expert collaborates with EIS specialists to understand various requirements, which are then translated into functional features within the WebLogic Integration platform to design comprehensive integration solution architectures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in or lead the planning of integration projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Monitor integration projects to guarantee they meet business requirements and goals.
    • Deliver end-user requirements by identifying and resolving system integration issues.
    • Foster effective communication with software developers and engineers to address program logic challenges.
    • Verify seamless operation between new applications and existing system software and applications.
    • Promote business process improvements through integration.
    • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization's established architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
    • Provide technical expertise on integration environments during project planning, execution, and management.
    • Establish standards, processes, and documentation to facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of existing and new administrative software systems.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in application integration using the WebSphere Application Integration Suite.
    • Demonstrated technical project management skills.
    • Proven experience in overseeing cross-functional application linking between disparate business units and systems.
    • Confidence and experience with API protocols such as SOAP and REST.
    • Proficiency in Java/JEE, .NET programming, and frameworks.
    • Expertise in SOA messaging.
    • In-depth knowledge of event-driven systems, schema, orchestration, process mapping, and ESB exception handling.
    • Advanced expertise in database engineering using Oracle and SQL development.
    • Strong experience in data architecture and application architecture.
