Purchases and Sales Administrator required for a reputable company, based in
East London, Eastern Cape
***The company requires a purchases and sales administrator/clerk to assist with day to day administrative tasks, quoting, invoicing and the procurement of raw materials and consumables.


Main Purpose

  • Research, select and purchase quality products and materials with assistance of company manager.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
  • Process requisitions and update company management on status of orders.
  • Processing of daily stock transfers when needed.
  • Coordinate with company management to ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
  • Prepare quotations based on company manager specification for submission to customers.
  • Invoice customers, allocate payments and follow up on outstanding debtors.
  • Assist with month end stock counts in the raw materials store, as required by the company manager.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in procurement (in joinery industry is advantageous).
  • Computer skills and can quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem solver.
  • Energetic team player with a strong work ethic.
