Purpose:
- To develop new supply sources globally in order to improve cost competitiveness and to be the channel between the company and the supplier_
_Key Responsibilities_
- _Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes_
- _Cross-funtional program management to qualify new materials_
- _Audit new and exsisting supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfillment ensuring supplier are able to meet requirements for performance_
- _Develop suppliers to reduce risk,cost & increase capacity in alignment with business strategy_
- _Enforce Distell specific requirements and offer technical support_
- _Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimum performance _
- _Assit with new product development and/or process improvement by working with suppliers to ensure that key milestones are achieved_
- _Responsible for leading the solution for supplier material concerns_
_Requirements_
- National Diploma /Degree in Science, Industrial Engineering, or Procurement or Supply Chain
- Minimum of 5 years experience in FMCG
- A technical /quality professional with a track record of delivering continuous improvement
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant material/supplier manufacturing, quality systems development, and previous relevant management experience required
