Introduction
Our Client, based in Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Administrator to join their team.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively with all customers noting orders, responding to queries and complaints.
  • Cold calling daily
- and sourcing new business.

  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing Managers on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate all customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
  • Load sales order from customer purchase order once stock availability has been confirmed and stock code has been loaded.
  • Ensures that sales price is correct prior to loading and no verbal orders are loaded.
  • Receive sales calls and communicates accordingly.
  • Ensure correct processing of orders, payment and delivery in accordance with company procedures.
  • Keep accurate, uptodate records of sales and customer correspondence.
  • Maintain records of all pending orders and work in progress
  • Coordinates customer deliveries including picking slips through Syspro.
  • Liaise with customers and confirms daily order requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of weekly and monthly sales data on Excel.
  • Maintain accurate price information on the system.
  • Ensure that all paperwork, filing and administrative duties are managed effectively for the department.
  • Keep accurate records of all customer queries and complaints and forwards specific requirements through to Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Assist in compiling company and product profiles for potential customers.
  • Taking & Processing of Telephone orders.
  • Dealing with customer queries/ Service
  • Stock Takes.
  • Cash Sales / Credits.
  • Following up on outstanding orders
- advise customers.

  • Basic Administration customer profiles, daily / weekly customer reports, sales reports.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric

Degree or diploma will be advantageous.

At least 2 years experience in a simialr role.

Experience working on a system (SAP will be advantageous)


Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel, with numerical reasoning and analytical skills to extrapolate, analyze and present data for effective business decision making.

Happy to work a fixed term contract - Must be available immediately.
