Minimum requirements:


  • Matric
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll administration
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Intermediate computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Sage People 300
  • Time Attendance Knowledge advantageous
  • Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is critical
  • Analytical, ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload effectively
  • Positive team player, time management skills and willingness to put in extra hours if necessary
  • Must live the company values

  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Deadline driven and ability to work in a pressurised environment

Duties:


  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll for allocated stores
  • Capture monthly overtime and assist with queries
  • Extract weekly / monthly payroll reports
  • Reconcile / process leave on the monthly payroll
  • Import / export payroll data
  • Draft employment contracts for Casuals and Permanent Employees
  • Control, verify and review time and attendance system
  • General administration and filing
