We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong Digital Marketing background, who can intimately understand the company and its Marketing strategies.

There is a substantial Digital component to this role, which requires broad experience, insight, and a robust grasp of Digital practices.

Additionally, you will need a solid understanding of Brand and Corporate Identity and have the ability to translate and align it with all the company's International campaigns.

This entails a very close working relationship with the International team, building brand awareness and positioning the company in order to drive leads.

You will serve as the brand ambassador and custodian of the brand in the International division where you will report into the Head of International.


Responsibilities:


  • Campaign strategising, conceptualising and implementation project management and tracking (digital & print)
  • To develop, oversee and run impactful and innovative campaigns for various International Projects
  • To play an active role in supporting our International Partners, Mauritius Branches, and International team at head office in a marketing capacity
  • Build relationships with our international developers/partners and offer them full marketing services and proposals in line with current marketing trends on various platforms
  • Research and create through the line advertising and marketing proposals for international partners and developers that will be suitable and beneficial in reaching a highend target audience
  • Understand the various offerings for in each country in the International portfolio and develop marketing strategies according to product and target
  • To keep abreast with all competitor and market developments, escalating relevant findings
  • Formulate and plan comprehensive marketing initiatives across various media/advertising platforms (digital, print, and other) for different campaigns (developments or general brand awareness)
  • Identify and develop crossmarketing, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities
  • Manage and oversee the marketing coordinators in Mauritius to ensure they are complying with brand standards, objectives, and strategy as per the Brand CI
  • Develop and manage marketing processes and protocols traffic work to studio
  • Brief and manage designer/creative workflow and time management
  • Research various advertising platforms, publications, and exhibitions (nationally and internationally)
  • Plan and organise roadshows, expos, or sponsored golf days to promote International offerings in SA or abroad
  • Liaise with international partners regarding marketing opportunities in SA and present proposals that are within budget and timeframe
  • Identifying needs of International developers/partners and manage expectations on all projects
  • Manage digital media agencies ensuring we receive regular reports and updates on active GDN & PPC campaigns, plus brief in new campaigns
  • Create reports/feedback on active campaigns and optimise where necessary
  • Measure reports and stats on various campaigns in order to compare and use findings for future campaigns
  • Keeping track of budgets and ensuring invoicing is done accordingly
  • Oversee marketing schedule in terms of active campaigns, mailers, and roadshows to ensure there is no overlapping in the various country campaigns
  • Update developments and other international pages on all the Websites
  • Upload listings through property portals
  • Ensure International offices are equipped with marketing collateral and corporate stationary needed
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for International projects
  • Capture jobs, create POs and liaise with accounts regarding invoices to be created for client or supplier invoices to be paid, advise on allocation
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding media bookings, printing, installation, and other requests and negotiate rates where suitable
  • Administration of International marketing department and manage to day to day running of the International marketing team.

Requirements:


  • Tertiary marketing qualification
  • At least 5 years' experience in a Marketing environment
  • Proven experience and/or Digital Marketing qualification
  • Digitally savvy with experience across the omnichannel digital spectrum including social, CRM and digital media
  • Solid experience and appreciation for conventional/traditional marketing
  • Experience in conceptualising and presenting marketing strategies to clients
  • Event coordination experience would be considered an advantage
  • The ability to write well, with copywriting skills a plus
  • Natural leader and capable of managing a team, and able to handle a wide range of stakeholders all of which have challenging demands and loud voices
  • Must have a flair for creativity and be able to present well to large audiences
  • Strategically minded with a passion for brands and design
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Keep abreast of current marketing and social media trends
