A summary of key responsibilities:
- Introduce new contracts to the business by means of signed service level agreement
- Sourcing of new business and promoting of sales
- Identify opportunities to upsell to enhance the sales revenue
- Cold calling to identify and ensure a pipeline of opportunities which can be turned into increased sales
- Negotiate the terms of the agreement and close sales
- Increase the company profile by attending waste/environmental trade exhibitions and events
- Create required and in detail the documents for tender bidding processes and prospective customer
- Review sales performance aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements and present an appropriate pitch/presentation/RTQ to make a sale
- Make accurate cost calculations with the assistance of Accounting and Ops to provide customers with quotations
- Attend team meetings, share best practice with team members and assist to develop a strong sales ethos within the team
- Work with Operations, Finance, Marketing and other internal teams to meet customer needs
The offer for this role will include cellphone allowance, car allowance and a structured commission in addition to the basic income.
Salary:
R18, R25,000.00 per month
Experience:
- waste management: 2 years (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (preferred)
