    BESS Sales and Revenue Growth Manager

    Fempower is seeking a highly skilled BESS Sales and Revenue Growth Manager to drive sales growth and increase profitability of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with experience in the BESS industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the BESS product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
    • Provide technical expertise to the sales team to enable them to sell the product.
    • Effectively manage sales and promotional resources to achieve targeted sales within an agreed period.
    • Act as the point of first reference for all product-related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in Product Development & Technical to address any issues.
    • Specify market requirements for current products through market research and customer visits.
    • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
    • Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
    • In collaboration with Marketing, develop advertising, promotion, and sales aids in accordance with the BESS promotional plan.
    • Prepare product forecasts and monitor the market for tenders, enquiries, and other sales opportunities.
    • Prepare and present internal reports to executives, sales personnel, and other departments on a regular basis.

    Requirements:

    • A relevant tertiary degree or work experience is a strong plus.
    • Not less than 3 years of relevant sales and business development experience.
    • Knowledgeable in the BESS industry.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Assertive/persuasive.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Analytical.
    • Initiative.
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Ensures consistency and accuracy of message.
    • Delivers unified, consistent brand message to all stakeholders.
    • Supports teams with valuable, targeted programs to drive business.
    • This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in the Southern Africa region.
