JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, Vanguard, a secure storage facility offering high-tech storage solutions for high-value products, has a Sales Account Manager opportunity available at their Head office in Boksburg.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 6+ years' experience in a similar role (Sales & Customer Acquisition).
- Solution selling experience or previous sales experience in determining client needs and positioning potential solutions.
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Knowledge of lead generation
- Knowledge of customer service.
- Knowledge of the Secure Storage and/or Security industries.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- The incumbent will report to the Vanguard Managing Partner.
- Be a trusted advisor and industry consultant to prospects.
- Development and execution of a territory gotomarket plan.
- Generate leads via coldcalling and other contact initiators.
- Build a sufficient pipeline of opportunities to cover the allocated territory target.
- Achieve monthly revenue and unit targets per assigned territory.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, which includes:

- Thorough sales administration, including detailed Activity, Lead, Opportunity and Forecast reporting.
- Provide market, customer and competitive feedback and thought leadership as a marketing tool.
- Postsignup customer contact ensuring quality and user satisfaction are delivered.
- Occasional followup postsales to keep customer contact warm and to explore possibilities for further sales.
- Ensure Vanguard client reception areas are kept wellprepared to host walkin clients.
