Job Overview:

This position will be primarily responsible for Fund Accounting and NAV oversight and related functions for our client's mutual funds/collective investments schemes, domiciled in various jurisdictions globally, including UCITS, 40 Act and CIS funds.

Responsibilities:

Confirming the accuracy & reasonability of daily priced funds and daily yields on constant NAV portfolios
Daily review and oversight over cash balances and cash, scrip & NAV reconciliations and assist in resolving reconciliation breaks
Calculation and review of income distributions, yields, performance fees, rebates, fund expenses, TERs and transaction costs
Oversight of and assisting in the preparation of fundrelated regulatory and industry reporting in South Africa and the UK
Assess and review KPIs and overall services level of the administrator, in terms of the agreed SLAs
Maintain relationship with investment teams, client groups and other operations functions across the business
Understand, resolve and respond to queries in an effective manner
Develop, implement and maintain effective systems, processes and procedures to ensure service standards are met, reducing risk and improving efficiency
Ongoing maintenance of procedures documentation

Requirements:

Technical Knowledge and Experience:

B.Com or similar relevant degree
At least 2 years' experience either as an asset manager or a fund administrator
Experience in and an understanding of fund pricing processes and the mutual funds industry
