Job Overview:


This position will be primarily responsible for Fund Accounting and NAV oversight and related functions for our client's mutual funds/collective investments schemes, domiciled in various jurisdictions globally, including UCITS, 40 Act and CIS funds.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirming the accuracy & reasonability of daily priced funds and daily yields on constant NAV portfolios
  • Daily review and oversight over cash balances and cash, scrip & NAV reconciliations and assist in resolving reconciliation breaks
  • Calculation and review of income distributions, yields, performance fees, rebates, fund expenses, TERs and transaction costs
  • Oversight of and assisting in the preparation of fundrelated regulatory and industry reporting in South Africa and the UK
  • Assess and review KPIs and overall services level of the administrator, in terms of the agreed SLAs
  • Maintain relationship with investment teams, client groups and other operations functions across the business
  • Understand, resolve and respond to queries in an effective manner
  • Develop, implement and maintain effective systems, processes and procedures to ensure service standards are met, reducing risk and improving efficiency
  • Ongoing maintenance of procedures documentation

Requirements:


Technical Knowledge and Experience:

  • B.Com or similar relevant degree
  • At least 2 years' experience either as an asset manager or a fund administrator
  • Experience in and an understanding of fund pricing processes and the mutual funds industry
