Description

Our client, a leading meat wholesale supplier based in the Montague Gardens region, is looking for a skilled Creditors Clerk to provide financial and administrative services.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Reconciling the supplier's statements including the meat suppliers.
Filling in credit apps.
Managing payments.
Handling payment queries.
Capturing buy Corp statements.
Updating the price lists and suppliers' details.
Filling.
Sending out supplier's remittances.
Capturing of all supplier invoices (high volume) whilst ensuring that all tax invoices are SARS compliant
Management of variance creditor payments terms (COD, 7days, 14 days, 30 days)
Compiling of accurate payment list every week and monthly cashflow planning
Capturing of Cashbook payments within Pastel
Running of Suppliers aged analysis
Reconciliation of supplier statement
Asset Register (Depreciation Journals)
Assisting with Purchase Orders
Assisting Finance Manager with various tasks
Reconciling of various GL accounts
Strict month end deadlines to adhere to.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum requirement: Grade 12/ Matric certificate
A financial tertiary qualification (advantageous);
A minimum of 1 2 years' work experience required;
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
Good organisational and interpersonal skills;
Work well under pressure;
Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel);
Excellent customer service skills;
Good problemsolving skills;
Solid time management;
Be able to work well in a team;
Be able to take initiative and selfmotivation.

SALARY
R R20 000 per month

WORKING HOURS
Monday - Friday: 07:00 -16:00 / 08:00 -17:00

Saturdays and Sundays:
off, Public holidays: off
