    Internal Sales Executive

    The Role: A Passionate and results-driven Internal Sales Executive is required to spearhead the sales efforts in the Southern Africa region, focusing on mid-market and enterprise private and public entities.

    This individual will be responsible for achieving a set annual new business revenue target for our governance, risk, and compliance software. The sale includes a full SaaS solution, services, and training, trusted by over 7,000 customer organisations worldwide.

    Working closely with the Business Development Manager, you will build and prioritise target account lists within your defined territory, prospect new business opportunities, qualify their goals and pain-points, and identify how our solution can help them.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop a solid pipeline of potential clients for the assigned territory through proactive sales activities.
    • Qualify new business opportunities within targeted markets through high-level prospecting and sales discovery initiatives.
    • Gain an understanding of customers' specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them.
    • Engage with prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and online communication channels to introduce our products/services and establish rapport.
    • Meet set targets and work closely with the Business Development Manager by methodically working on and following up on various sales activity.
    • Achieve quarterly and annual KPIs consistently.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
    • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager throughout the complete sales cycle.
    • Implement territory sales action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Utilise CRM systems and sales tools to track interactions, update customer records, and generate sales reports.
    • Submit weekly sales progress reports and accurate forecasts on opportunities.
    • Prepare and draft proposals and quotes.

    Requirements:

    • At least 2 years proven experience in a software solution sales role.
    • Proven ability to prospect through companies to identify correct individuals.
    • Capability of running a full sales cycle from finding new opportunities to closing deals.
    • Demonstrated track-record in achieving targets and capable of hitting sales KPI activity levels.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other sales tools/software.
    • Excellent presentation capability.

    • Fast learner with a passion for sales.
    • Ability to initiate conversations with senior personnel.
    • Ability to ask questions that demonstrate understanding.
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Sales or Marketing.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and cloud-based software solutions is an advantage.
    • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Good command of Portuguese is an advantage for this role.

    Experience:

    • 2 years in a similar role.
    • Proven experience in sales - internal sales.
    • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

    R30 - R41 + basic + commission
