Minimum requirements for the role:


  • Must have a B.Com. Degree
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role, with experience in pricing and margin management are essential
  • Must have advanced Excel skills with knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problemsolving and analytical skills are required for this role
  • Managing and creating customer contracts and price lists.
  • Conducting quarterly pricing review and updating customer price lists in collaboration with management.
  • Sending quarterly price lists to customers.
  • Conducting quarterly pricing review letters to customers in consultation with procurement.
  • Handling the pricing component of tender processes and margin management.
  • Responding to pricing related questions or queries.
  • Ensuring intercompany pricing in the ERP system.
  • Defining and agreeing on pricing principles in collaboration with Sales Manager, General Manager, and Finance Controller.
  • Optimising sales margins and safeguard sales profit for different productcustomer groups.
  • Providing ecommerce support.
  • Advocating for pricing process improvements.
  • Maintaining standard product and raw material price lists.
  • Generating quotes on standard and custom manufactured products to customers.
  • Maintaining the excel price lists as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate prices, surcharges, transport rates, and discounts in the ERP system.
  • Sending prices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Harmonising the Pricing Model in the ERP system and review margins periodically.
  • Maintaining Assortments & Costing modules, pricing administration, and data entry.
  • Ensuring raw material price list accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Maintaining product prices in consultation with Product Managers.
  • Conducting periodic review of Sales Profits including monthly EAAC effect.
  • Maintaining customer ABC ranking and identifying sales profit at risk customers.
  • Conducting sales margin reporting and investigating lossmaking products.
  • Analysing industry standards, trends, and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Monitoring feed price movements.
