    Job Title: Temporary Accounting Manager

    About the Role:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and cost accounting. They will also coordinate with the current financial manager to prepare the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and ensure compliance with group accounting policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Accounting Operations: Oversee all accounting activities, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
    • Budget and Financial Forecasts: Coordinate with the current FM to prepare the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances and ensuring compliance with group accounting policies.
    • Financial Statements: Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
    • Regulatory Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
    • Technical Accounting Issues: Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
    • Internal Controls: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    • Audit Coordination: Coordinate the year-end audit.
    • Strategic Decision Making: Provide management with necessary information for strategic decision-making.

    Skills Required:

    • Computer/Software Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, Email, PowerPoint, and Sage Evolution or similar software.
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
    • Qualifications: Financial/accounting qualification is advantageous.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, grammar, and command of the English language are required.
    • Stability: Stable track record and contactable references are expected.
    • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude is necessary for success in this role.

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
