    Job Title:

    Branch Consultant / Inhouse Advisor

    Location:

    Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa

    About Sanlam Developing Markets:

    Sanlam Developing Markets is a subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited and provides financial services to the entry-level and emerging middle market.

    Responsibilities:

    • Promote Sanlam Retail Mass products through sound advice and client service in a Branch context.
    • Create opportunities for client optimisation and cross-selling of value-added services.
    • Deliver Retail Branch Sales and provide in-branch client service and retention.
    • Maintain compliance, quality, and risk management.
    • Plan and report on sales and service activities monthly.
    • IDentify key stakeholders and develop engagement tactics for building relationships.

    Requirements:

    • 1 year experience in sales or marketing.
    • Insurance branch experience advantageous.

    Certifications:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • RE5 advantageous
    • FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.

    Skills:

    • Client service.
    • Sales and cross-selling tactics and strategies.
    • Knowledge of insurance landscape including regulatory requirements.
    • Insurance product knowledge advantageous.
    • Target-focused and analytical skills.
    • Technologically oriented.
    • Selling and influencing skills.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Adaptable and open to learning.
