    Branch Manager - Isando/Kempton Park

    Our client, a leader in the distribution of construction and forklift equipment, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to join their team.

    Purpose of the Role:

    As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of branch performance imperatives across all business areas. This includes setting targets, allocating resources, and supporting staff in achieving departmental performance imperatives. You will also focus on customer satisfaction, fostering effective supplier and third-party relationships, and ensuring administrative processes are adhered to.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
    • Technical qualification, people management, financial management, or marketing and sales certifications (advantageous).
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in people management, sales, and parts management, general management, and technical knowledge (forklift, operations, and maintenance).
    • Administratively strong with financial interpretation aptitude.
    • High level of problem-solving ability.
    • 3 years workshop, parts, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic experience (advantageous).

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Ensure achievement of targets in line with budget requirements: manage daily sales, including rental, parts, and service targets vs actual performance.
    • Manage and facilitate work in progress: continuously monitor the status of ongoing tasks, accurate processing of warranty claims, and ensure claim fitness.
    • Branch management: continuously monitor and analyze branch financial performance, revenue, expense, and optimize profitability.
    • Effective staff management: ensure effective staff training, mentoring, coaching, and management of staff within the branch.
    • Customer relationship management: build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

    Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
