    Job Title: Structural Steel Design Engineer

    A leading manufacturer of unique physical perimeter security barriers seeks to employ a highly skilled and experienced Structural Steel Design Engineer.


    About the Role:

    This position is based in Kempton Park and requires the following qualifications and experience:

    • Eng/B. Sc/B. Tech in Structural Engineering
    • Around 6 years post-grad experience

    The ideal candidate will be proficient in:

    • Prokon Structural Analysis
    • AutoCAD
    • Revit

    ECSA registration and international design standards and codes experience are considered advantages.


    Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Designing structural components for projects, including analysing survey, geotechnical reports, and client requirements
    • Analysing steel and concrete structures
    • Evaluating safety and ensuring compliance to various international codes and regulations
    • Creating 2D designs and 3D models using AutoCAD and other drafting software programs
    • Preparing engineering reports
    • Reviewing drawings completed by draughtsmen
