Job Purpose:
To** ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of physical security for staff, facilities, assets and physical documentation; CIPC office and storage space, reception areas and Self-Service Centres (SSC) offices;
the receipt of digitization of physical documents and the management of CIPC paper based records.
Required Minimum Education/training:
B degree in Business Management/ Business Science
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' management experience.
- 610 years' experience in Security Management and Facilities management and Safety management and records management.
- More than 5 years' experience in electronic documentation management system is desirable.
Key performance areas:
- To implement and maintain security services to the CIPC and its SSCs;
- To implement and maintain facilities services to the CIPC and the SSCs;
- To implement and maintain safety services to the CIPC and the SSCs;
- To implement and maintain records management services to the CIPC;
- To facilitate transition to a digitized documentation environment based on Electronic Document Management System (EDMS);
- st practice, design and implement approved strategies relating to the effective management of Security, facilities, safety and records management unit;
- To develop policies and oversee the implementation of approved operating policies, procedures and processes relating to the management of security, facilities, safety and records management.
- To establish and maintain service delivery standards and to manage their implementation in the business unit by monitoring operational performance and resource allocation and resolving human resource related complaints.
- To make input into the strategic and business planning and budgeting for the sub unit.
- To facilitate the audit process and update the operational risk register.
- To ensure adherence to human resource, financial and administrative policies and procedures in the sub unit;
- To ensure the proper administration, governance and risk management of the sub unit.
- To communicate internally and externally, through written and oral presentations and compile monthly report to EXCO and other stakeholders as required.
