    About the Role

    We seek a Sales Engineer who will maintain and develop relationships with key customers and trade organizations, solidifying purchase agreements and market trends.

    This role requires a keen understanding of Flowserve operations to enhance selling effectiveness and coordinate selling efforts with internal and external partners.

    Your Responsibilities

    1. Drive bookings levels to meet or exceed assigned goals by maintaining regular communication with key customers and developing marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
    2. Serve as a primary contact for all business dealings, addressing customer concerns including proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality, warranty claims, etc.
    3. Educate customers on our products through company marketing materials, highlighting their quality, features, and uses.
    4. Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to ensure customer needs are met.
    5. Demonstrate financial acumen to discuss business decisions, particularly return on investment in support of solution selling.
    6. Able to work independently, efficiently, and communicate productively with others.

    Your Profile

    1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in a relevant field, plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
    2. Knowledge of EPC contractors, OEM, and Mining industry in South Africa and larger SADC.
    3. Sales experience with rotating equipment, such as pumps and mechanical seals.
    4. Familiarity with API 610 Standard, oil & gas, power, paper, and chemical industries.
    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, project management experience preferred.
