Primary purpose of the role:

This is a remote position.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Develop and execute an inclusive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and targets potential customers in different locations.
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer trends to identify new opportunities for growth and development.
  • Build brand awareness and manage the company's reputation by creating and implementing effective brand positioning and communication strategies.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring that all marketing activities are executed within budget.
  • Plan and execute campaigns across various marketing channels such as digital, print, and social media to reach target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales materials, presentations, and other tools to support their efforts.
  • Create and maintain customer databases and manage the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Monitor and analyze the success of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage and develop a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least three years of experience in a decisionmaking role.
  • Skill in Marketing Tools; Adobe/Creative Cloud, Microsoft Programs, CRM Systems, etc.
  • Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and videos
  • Oversee third party contractors and agencies managing specific platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Analytics, and META
  • Strong Analytical and attention to detail along with problemsolving skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a PLUS.

Salary:
R1.00 - R2.00 per month


Education:


  • Bachelors (required)

Experience:


  • Marketing: 5 years (required)
Freight Forwarding: 2 years (preferred)

  • Fluent English (required)
