At Khula Placements, we are seeking a skilled and personable Waiter to deliver exceptional service at our esteemed Sushi Restaurant.

Main Responsibilities:

• We require the ability to greet guests warmly, provide menus, and wine lists in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to ensure accurate recommendations.
• Ensure tables are set with linens, silverware, and glasses to create an inviting atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and coordinate seamlessly with bar and kitchen staff for efficient service delivery.
• Clear used cutlery and crockery once guests have finished and offer desserts and coffee with an emphasis on upselling.
• Accurately bill guests and ensure prompt payment while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the restaurant area.
• Present a clean and professional appearance in uniform at all times.

Main Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a Grade 12 qualification and preferably 3 years of waiter/waitress experience in a similar environment (5 years for Senior Waiter).
• A basic knowledge of wine and local wine regions is essential.
• Hands-on experience with a cash register and ordering systems is required.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong math skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and attentive listening is crucial.
• Patience and attentiveness to guests' needs are also essential qualities.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with distinguished clientele.
