    Our Global Design Centre (GDC) Water team is recruiting for a key Australian client with a growing water business.
    We are seeking engineers who wish to pursue a design-focused career in the water sector, specifically bulk conveyance and treatment infrastructure.
    The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background in bulk water or wastewater infrastructure projects and aim to become a leading technical specialist in the water sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform complex engineering designs, calculations, and analysis of water or wastewater infrastructure and systems.
    • Design water and wastewater infrastructure systems, including pump stations, pipelines, and treatment facilities, with contributions to 3D models, technical drawings, and details.
    • Produce technical reports, specifications, and procurement documentation as required.
    • Assist in managing and delivering water projects to a high quality within constrained timeframes.
    • Demonstrate expertise in civil engineering analysis software and advanced skills with 3D engineering modelling software.
    • Show a working knowledge of BIM processes.
    • Exhibit self-motivated, well-spoken qualities, being disciplined, detail-oriented, and deadline/delivery focused.
    • Be a collaborative team player willing to work across multiple disciplines and international geographies.
    • Possess excellent communication skills, interacting effectively with personnel at all organisational levels.
    • Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Professional Engineer registration with ECSA, with 5-10 years' experience.
    • A minimum of 4 years' experience on civil engineering projects, focusing on bulk water/wastewater infrastructure.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
    • Familiarity with engineering design software and analytical tools relevant to the role.

    Desirable Experience and Skills:

    • Construction experience on bulk water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
    • Capability in Autodesk software suite (Civil 3D, Revit, Inventor, Navisworks, or InfraWorks).
    • Experience with common data environments like ACC/BIM360 or ProjectWise.
    • Skills in transient (surge) analysis of pipelines.
    • Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics modelling.
