Qualifications:


  • BCom Degree/ Advanced Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Credit Experience
Experience
years banking experience - risk, credit Ideal

  • 23 years banking experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Financial analysis and interpretation
  • Planning/organizing.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective time management
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Managing relationships at a strategic partner level

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to
Financials

  • Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial models to determine deal feasibility and potential returns.
  • Preparation of credit paper and information pack
  • Assisting in deal presentation to the relevant Credit committee
  • Management and oversight of deal execution, including finalization of all deal conditions (fees etc)
Admin

  • Minimize risks and grow assets through lending at industry related acceptable risk levels.
  • Build relationships with internal customers supporting Client Coverage in an advisory role and on deal structure/presentation
  • Build relationships with external customers and having willingness to 'listen' to the customer
  • Manage TAT's and SLA's with business and Client Coverage colleagues and Credit
  • Drive internal credit efficiencies and strategies
  • Industry research on how the 4IR has impacted entrepreneurship both locally and internationally
  • Learning how business as a whole has evolved and how best to position ourselves as a Bank to benefit from this evolution.
