Description
Roles and responsibilities would include, but not to be treated as an exhaustive list:

  • Processing of quotations and orders received from customers
  • Preparation of quotations (within an efficient turnaround time) and processing of order confirmations
  • Partake in daily production/installation meetings and ensure the correct and accurate feedback can be provided to customers and on the status of open orders
  • Weekly feedback is provided to all customers on the progress of orders
  • Ensure storeroom/storekeeper dispatches goods correctly
  • Obtain and processing of purchase orders from customers
  • Ensure all relevant documentation from the initial enquiry to the completion of the order is captured correctly and saved in the relevant folder
  • Secure key accounts and keep relations going with customers
  • Provide technical support to customers, when required however certain technical details to be verified and consulted with management
  • Track all orders from date of receipt until completed and ready for dispatch to customers on a weekly basis to ensure correct and accurate feedback is provided timeously to customers
  • Continuously keep key accounts up to date at all times with the progress of orders and current accurate updates received from management and the technical team

Requirements:


  • Matric qualification is essential
  • Sales administration experience in a manufacturing, industrial, motor industry of 3+ years is a nonnegotiable
  • MUST have effective communication skills
  • MUST be able to work with a team
  • MUST be able to deal with customers in a professional manner
  • Must have prior experience in quotations and purchase orders
