Our client in the logistics industry is urgently looking to employ a Briefer/Debriefer at their organization


Location:
Kraaifontein, Cape Town


Job Summary:
The overall objective of briefer/debriefer role is to ensure the timeous delivery of loads


Requirements:


  • Matric
  • Degree/Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
  • Must have a passion for the transport and logistics industry
  • Must be fluent in Afrikaans
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours.
  • Must be willing to perform duties on weekends.

Responsibilities:


  • Must be willing to perform duties on weekends.
  • Tracking on route monitoring
  • Monitoring of route progress
  • Loading & Offloading (Driver brief and debrief)
  • Maximum utilization of vehicles, planning of loads, routes, and fuel.
  • Ensure assets and staff comply with all statutory and legal requirements
  • Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
  • Administrative duties and Document control.
  • Solving queries and problemsolving.
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required.
