The Purpose of the Role:


The individual in the role is required to assist the Internal Sales Team with placement of advertising time/slots to existing and potential clients within assigned company processes.

Furthermore, the intern would be required to ensure deliverables are available for play out across all channels.


Key Deliverables:


Application Management and Administration
Providing effective and efficient service to internal team members and existing and potential clients.

Issuing order confirmation to clients for billing purposes and obtain client confirmation.

Issuing client contracts and ensure accuracy.

Loading flighting codes and ensure the material is delivered to the Transfers department to ensure timeous playout.

Checking schedules continuously to ensure correct material is flighted.

Issuing availability reports and certificates for flighted promotions when requested.

Adhering to set internal and external policies to limit overbooking.

Maintaining good relationships with external sales executives and other relevant stakeholders.


Capture Quality Data
Obtaining information, checking for accuracy and capturing data.

Filing documents per departmental procedure.


Stakeholder Relationships
Building, supporting and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.


Key Performance Indicators:

Issuing order confirmation to clients for billing purposes and obtain client confirmation.

Issuing client contracts and ensure accuracy.

Loading flighting codes and ensure the material is delivered to ensure timeous playout.

Adhering to set internal and external policies to limit overbooking.

Issuing availability reports and certificates for flighted promotions when requested.

Complying with work rules, standards and methods and taking care to minimise waste.


Minimum Requirements of the Role:


Qualifications - Bachelors Degree in Media Studies


Experience - 1 year in Advertising / Sales


Technology Proficiency - Basic Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


Language Proficiency - Advanced English
