    Description

    Job Purpose

    To provide oversight and contribute to optimizing the credit portfolio quality by reporting on key aspects of the credit portfolio across business units and lending products on a group level, in line with Nedbank's strategic objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Credit risk reporting from a Group perspective, guiding and supporting Internal and External Stakeholders through formal and informal knowledge sharing relating to credit systems and credit data.
    • Enabling the compilation of reliable, accurate, relevant, insightful and timeous reports to relevant stakeholders through identification of data and reporting innovations.
    • Providing secretariat functions for the Group Credit Committee, Executive Credit Committee and other related committees and forums.
    • Planning and preparation of ad-hoc and special reports as and when required.

    Requirements

    • 5 years banking experience, including 1 – 2 years relevant credit risk reporting experience.
    • Professional Qualifications/Honour's Degree or CA(SA).
    • Post graduate qualification in Risk Management, Accounting or Finance is a preferred qualification.

    Desirable Skills

    • Knowledge of Credit risk management processes, Client service management, Governance, Risk and Controls, Organisational systems, Principles of project management, Relevant regulatory knowledge, Strategic planning, Management information and reporting principles, tools and mechanisms.

    Additional Information
