Description

The Credit Controller will primarily be responsible for collection and communication with customers on AR balances.

Working with all departments of the business, and hands on collection of all outstanding debt, in order to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt.

All other credit control functions by performing the following duties.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirement - Grade 12

Relevant Diploma in Bookkeeping or Finance.

Full knowledge of Debtors Collections / Debit and Credit Notes.

Minimum 5 years' relevant credit control experience with Corporate portfolios;
Minimum 2 years' relevant pre-legal experience;
Good computer skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook);
Well versed in the use of computers and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Efficient and accurate data entry skills

Excellent Communication Skills on all levels, telephonic and face-to-face customer relations skills;
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to deal with problematic clients

Target and deadline driven;
High level of accuracy;
Team player;
Innovative and self-motivated;
Well-presented individual and punctual;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To maintain quality at a high standard as set out in policies and procedures within the company.

Controlling of Corporate accounts.

Meeting set objectives.

Maintain a good telephonic - good communications skills.

Ability to persuasively and tactfully able to speak with clients regarding debt

Maintain a good collection index and DSO.

Maintain, control and accurate reconciliations (Excel Format) of debtors accounts.

Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the Company.

Preparation and processing of Debit Notes /Credit Notes.

Refunds of overpayments.

Salary:
R12,000.00 per month
