X1 Field Inspector (Overland Natref)
Required Minimum educational qualification and work experience needed to be considered for the position:
Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and/ Physical Science.
Chemical Operations NQF 1-3
12 Months work related experience preferable in the Chemical and Petroleum Industry, sampling and inspections of Road Tankers, Shore tanks, Iso-tainers and road tanker dosing and sealing.
To conduct sampling as required by the Laboratory or Operations Department according to prescribed standards and procedure.
Keeps the work area and equipment / vehicles in proper order and presentation.
Sound knowledge of Retails site/Warehousing knowledge
Valid code B Driver's license
Personal requirements necessary:
Be able to work independently.
Be able to work under no supervision, remotely, accurately, and safely.
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Be prepared to work shifts and occasional extended hours and on standby call out.
Strong analytical skills and be quality focused.
Have good communication and teamwork skills.
Show discretion when dealing with confidential information.
Be able to work at heights as well as narrow confined spaces.
Prepared and willing to stand in for administration tasks when required.
Be always professional and ethical.
