    Conveyancing Attorney Job Description:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of property transactions, including bonds and transfers.
    • Verify ownership and identify any encumbrances or legal issues through title searches and document reviews.
    • Draft and review contracts, deeds, and other legal documents related to property transactions.
    • Coordinate communication and negotiations between buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders.
    • Arrange financing and ensure necessary documentation with mortgage lenders.
    • Exchange contracts and complete property transactions, including transfer of funds and registration of title deeds.
    • Provide legal advice and guidance on property law matters, including rights and obligations.
    • Resolve legal issues and disputes during the conveyancing process.
    • Stay up-to-date with property law changes and regulations for compliance and best practices.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Law.
    • Admitted as a Conveyancer.
    • Minimum 5 years experience as a Conveyancer.
    • Excellent marketing and social skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of property law, conveyancing procedures, and real estate transactions.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for complex legal documents.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder relationships.
    • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
