Brand Manager Retail

Johannesburg - Gauteng - South Africa

Our client is seeking a Brand Manager who is would describe themselves as an entrepreneurial thinker who thrives on driving brand leadership.

Your professional profile would include relevant experience and an understanding of Retail Trade Marketing from a Brand/Marketing perspective. You will have a thorough understanding of both the large retail spaces as well as independent retail spaces.

Marketing degree/ IMM diploma or equivalent qualification essential
Postgraduate diploma/ honours degree will be preferable
Min 5 years' experience in a similar position
A good understanding of all digital platforms, including ecomm and the relevant performance metrics
An understanding of forecasting and inventory management
Proven track record of commercial ability to manage stock procurement and budgets
MS Office with aboveaverage Excel and PowerPoint skills
Willing to travel
The ability to work according to strict deadlines and budgets on a continuous basis
Excellent Communication skills in English
Strong people skills
Strong planning and organizing skills
Ability to think and act commercially able to make economically viable decisions around the portfolio
Engaging personality, enthusiastic, professional in appearance
