KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide timely and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
- Set up and support enduser workstations, including the installation of peripheral devices.
- Create user documentation and guides for common issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and patches.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Escalate issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting
- Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
- Record technical issues and solutions in logs
- Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
- Report customer feedback and potential product requests
- Assist with the creation of IT documentation, administration, including user manuals and training materials.
- Assist with creating training content and training to internal staff and clients.
- Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software across the company.
- Research and deployment of new software.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Basic experience working in an IT support role with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
- Basic troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant IT qualification or industry certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, CCNA, MCSA) is desirable but not essential.
