    Description

    Senior Interior Designer:

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 8 years proven work experience with contactable references
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Creative with a keen eye for design and detail
    • Able to thrive under pressure and meet quick deadlines

    Responsibilities:

    • Client Engagement:
      • Serve as the main contact for clients, listening to their needs and feedback
      • Present design proposals, address concerns, and incorporate feedback
      • Lead meetings with clients and contractors
    • Project Management:
      • Lead meetings with contractors
      • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently
      • Collaborate with external design teams and organizations
      • Be open to travel, weekend work, and overtime as needed
    • Conceptualization and Design Development:
      • Understand project phases from concept to completion
      • Create design presentations and technical drawings
      • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
      • Solve design problems effectively
      • Procure FF&E materials, staying updated on trends
    • Leadership and Mentorship:
      • Provide guidance and mentorship to designers, fostering their growth
      • Inspire creativity, innovation, and excellence in the team

    Desirable:

    • Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or residential design preferred
    • Roll-out experience is a bonus

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and Photoshop
    • Experience with Enscape or similar rendering programs
    • Skilled in PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and budgeting
