    We are seeking a skilled Logistics Expeditor to join our team at WatersEdge Solutions in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

    About the Role:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for expediting orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting customer expectations.
    • They will work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to track order status, resolve issues, and provide delivery updates.
    • The Logistics Expeditor will also prioritize orders based on urgency and importance, assess potential delays, and coordinate with Buying, suppliers, and vendors to expedite production or delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Expediting

    • Order Tracking: Monitor the progress of orders, shipments, or projects to ensure they stay on schedule and meet delivery deadlines.
    • Communication: Maintain regular communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to track order status, resolve issues, and provide delivery updates.
    • Prioritization: Assess the urgency and importance of orders or projects and prioritize them accordingly to meet customer requirements.
    • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with Buying, suppliers, and vendors to expedite production or delivery, including negotiating faster production schedules or shipping options.
    • Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation (purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents) is accurate to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.

    Order Management

    • Receive Sales Orders: Receive sales orders from customer service and ensure delivery dates and dispatch information are correct.
    • Send Order Confirmations: Send order confirmations to customers and update the open orders sheet.
    • Coordinate Dispatch: Collaborate with Dispatch to get goods to customers.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate Requirements: A Grade 12 minimum with tertiary education in Business Administration / Logistics Diploma or Degree.
    • Skills and Qualifications: SAP One experience (inherent requirement), excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel at an Advanced level, strong knowledge and experience of administrative processes, and excellent communication, interpersonal, team, and organisational skills.
    • Additional Skills: Logistics experience (Exports and Imports), prioritization, attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.

    Working Environment:

    The Logistics Expeditor will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and customer satisfaction. They will be required to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high degree of integrity and discretion.

    Compensation:
