    Storage Pre-Sales Engineer Role

    This role requires a Storage Pre-Sales Engineer to work closely with clients, understanding their unique storage needs and recommending tailored Huawei solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Data Centre Storage, at least 5-8 years of experience in the IT industry.

    Main Responsibilities

    We are seeking someone who can:

    1. Collaborate with our sales team to grasp client requirements and challenges.
    2. Conduct thorough discussions and assessments to gather detailed data center storage requirements.
    3. Utilize expertise in Data Centre Storage to recommend suitable Huawei solutions that meet client needs and preferences.
    4. Provide technical guidance and support to clients on Huawei storage features, benefits, and capabilities.
    5. Develop and deliver technical proposals, demonstrations, and presentations showcasing Huawei storage offerings.
    6. Work with our technical team to design and configure storage solutions based on client requirements.
    7. Deliver training sessions to enhance internal teams' understanding of Huawei storage solutions.
    8. Stay updated on the latest developments in Huawei storage technologies and share knowledge within the organization.

    Key Deliverables

    1. Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, diagrams, and presentations, to support sales efforts.
    2. Regularly report on pre-sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes to management.

    Customer Focus

    1. Built strong relationships with customers to understand evolving storage needs and preferences.
    2. Gathered feedback from clients to continuously improve storage solutions and services.
    3. Participated in weekly engagements with vendor technical counterparts.
    4. Engaged in four partner technical meetings per month.

    Certifications and Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
    2. At least 5-8 years of experience in Data Centre Storage, focusing on pre-sales engineering and solution architecture.
    3. In-depth knowledge of Huawei storage products and solutions is preferable.
    4. Strong understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and object storage.
    5. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information effectively.
    6. Certifications related to Huawei storage products are advantageous.
