    Our company is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at a high-end mining and earth moving equipment company based in Springs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Targeting and qualifying of customers to identify potential sales opportunities
    • Submitting weekly call reports to track progress and stay on top of sales goals
    • Building effective business relationships with industry professionals to establish trust and credibility
    • Maintaining a strong network and customer base in the Gauteng region to drive sales growth
    • Analyzing CONMESA data to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of competitors
    • Utilizing Microsoft packages, including Excel and Word, to manage sales data and create presentations
    • Staying up-to-date with competitor products, service offerings, and activities to maintain market intelligence
    • Reporting and updating the market intelligence system to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Monitoring and reporting on competitor behavior and offerings to stay informed
    • Meeting sales targets in own territory through proactive sales strategies and techniques
    • Planning quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily activities on a continuous basis to ensure alignment with sales goals
    • Growing market share by implementing own business initiatives and best practices in the area
    • Sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the field
    • Demonstrating commercial and business awareness to make informed decisions
    • Having a clear understanding of the yellow metal market in South Africa to provide valuable insights to customers
    • Providing a proven track record of selling excavators, wheel loaders, and dozers into the South African market
    • Demonstrating the ability to succeed in a price-sensitive market through negotiation and relationship-building skills
    • Demonstrating the ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets through hard work and dedication
    • Being able to multitask, think strategically and analytically, and prioritize effectively to manage multiple responsibilities
    • Being target and achievement driven to consistently meet and exceed sales goals
    • Building effective business relationships with partners and customers to drive sales growth and loyalty
    • Identifying and establishing new business opportunities to expand sales channels and revenue streams
    • Requiring experience in new equipment sales and rental equipment sales to be successful in this role

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you must have:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and colleagues
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex sales challenges
    • A proven track record of sales success in a similar industry or role
    • Experience working with CONMESA data and Microsoft packages
    • A deep understanding of the yellow metal market in South Africa
    • A strong network and customer base in the Gauteng region

    What We Offer

    We offer a competitive salary range of R 30,000 - R 38,000 per month, plus a car allowance of R12,000, medical aid, and pension benefits to support your career growth and well-being.
