    Solutions Architect

    DVT is a top global software development company with offices in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland & South Africa.

    We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our innovative team. As a Solutions Architect at DVT, you will play a pivotal role in bringing IT operations in-house for our clients, guiding them through critical transformations in API management, payment systems, data architecture, and security.

    You'll work on:

    • API management and integration across various platforms, ensuring secure and efficient communication.
    • End-to-end payment systems, from transaction processing to reconciliation, adhering to industry standards like PCI-DSS.
    • Data management strategies, including the design and implementation of data lakes and integration with third-party applications.
    • Security and compliance frameworks to protect sensitive data and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
    • System integration, modernizing legacy systems and aligning them with contemporary enterprise architecture.

    Key Responsibilities

    Our ideal candidate will have:

    • API Management & Integration:
      • Design and Implement API Strategy: Develop and manage APIs, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external systems.
      • API Gateway & Security: Ensure secure and efficient API communication, managing API gateways and security protocols.
      • Monitoring & Analytics: Implement monitoring and analytics tools to oversee API performance and usage.
    • Payment Systems:
      • End-to-End Payment Solutions: Design and oversee the implementation of payment systems, from transaction initiation to completion, including reconciliation processes.
      • Integration with Financial Systems: Ensure the payment systems integrate effectively with existing financial and ERP systems.
      • Compliance and Security: Ensure payment systems meet all relevant security standards and regulatory compliance, including PCI-DSS.
    • Data Management & Strategy:
      • Data Architecture: Design and implement a robust data architecture, including data lakes, to store and manage large datasets.
      • Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data across various third-party applications.
      • Data Governance: Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
    • Security & Compliance:
      • Security Architecture: Design and implement a comprehensive security architecture to protect the organization's IT infrastructure and data.
      • Compliance Management: Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
      • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential security risks.
    • System Integration:
      • Application Integration: Lead the integration of various applications, ensuring they work harmoniously within the enterprise architecture.
      • Legacy System Modernization: Develop strategies for modernizing legacy systems to align with current technology standards.
    • Project Leadership:
      • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
      • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
      • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Ensure thorough documentation of systems and processes, and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.
    • Build POC's
    • Write code and perform code reviews

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
    • Minimum of 10 years in software development with extensive experience in solution architecture, particularly in .NET frameworks, API management, and data handling.
    • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), security (CISSP, CISM), and architecture (TOGAF, Zachman) are highly desirable.
