Technical Assistant for Engineering Department
An exciting opportunity exists for a Technical Assistant in the Engineering department of a well-established company in the truck and trailer industry situated in Stikland Industrial, Bellville.
The Technical Assistant will be mainly responsible for data capturing, loading bill of materials, maintaining the item master, compiling and issuing of production packs as well as estimating.
Job Requirements:
- Senior certificate
- Above average computer skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Attention to detail
- Experience in the computer programs Creo and Syspro will be advantageous
- Relevant technical experience
- Results orientated.
- Must be able to prioritise jobs, perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
