POSITION TITLE:
Field Sales Administrator

GoSolr is a sustainable solar solution for the residential market in South Africa.

As a Field Sales Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to support the sales department in delivering on their mandate of reaching sales and activation targets.

A detail-orientated professional with strong administrative, and organisational abilities is needed for this role.


Key Responsibilities:


Order Processing

  • Work together with the sales staff to quickly resolve any difficulties or anomallies with orders

Activity Calendar

  • Ensure that all agents have the required activities (as per activity calendar) set up and booked
  • Business presentations
  • Estate Activations
  • School / Sport club activities
  • Ad Hoc activations
  • Tactical Activations
  • Pipeline Line
  • Ensure that in briefs and debriefs are submitted within agreed timeframes. Ensure that activity (Sales on the day and leads generated) are captured correctly and reported. Ensure that agents have done required follow up procedures as per playbooks.

Communication

  • Respond to questions from customers in a timely and professional manner by serving as a direct point of contact
  • Work along with the sales staff to efficiently handle customer complaints and transmit feedback
  • Be the conduit between the organisation and field sales department

Sales Reporting

  • Extract intelligent dashboards and reports that provide important information about key performance metrics
  • Debrief Sales Manager to ensure that corrective measures can be put in place

CRM Management

  • Ensure that the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is kept up to date and correct, with regular updates from Field Sales Agents
  • Allocate leads to Agents (if not automated)
  • Assist the sales team in making efficient use of the CRM for relationship management and customer interaction

Appointment Scheduling

  • Based on availability and geographic factors, effectively plan and schedule activations and presentations for Field Sales Agents
  • Make sure the sales team and customers are aware of all the details of the appointment
  • Find business presentation opportunities
  • Direct leads to sales agents to activate as per timeline

Inventory Management
- work together with the appropriate departments to guarantee that items and marketing materials are kept at required stock levels
- keep an eye on stock levels, report any inconsistencies, and take quick action with marketing to fill shortfalls


Sales Support

  • Assist with the logistics of exhibits, community engagements, and sales events
  • Assist with administrative tasks to be done bythe deadline required

Data Entry Analysis

  • Enter and preserve sales activity, customer, and lead generation data accurately
  • Help with data analysis to find patterns, trends, and areas that need improvement

Documentation Compliance

  • Work with compliance department to quickly resolve issues with documents to be sent out to customers if the need be
  • Work with Customer Support teams to increase conversion ratios

Administrative Support

  • Oversee calendars, plan trips, and assist with expense reports as part of your basic administrative support duties for the field sales team

Continous Improvement

  • Find ways to enhance the sales administrative function's processes
  • Work together with crossfunctional teams to put best practices and improvements into action

Experince, Skills and
Qualifications

  • Three years minimum experience in a function similar to sales administration
  • Good understanding of CRM software systems
  • Outstanding multitasking and organisaing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Accurate and detail orientated
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the solar industry an advantage
  • Proactive and selfdriven
  • Ability to adjust to a changing workplace
  • Good, positive mindset and a team player

Additional Prerequisites

  • Willingness and ability to work long hours or weekends on occassion for special occasions
  • Able to attend to pressing client matters outside regular business hours
