    Description

    Overview / Purpose of the job:

    Compile and record employee time and payroll data. May compute employees' time worked, production, and commission. May compute and post wages and deductions or prepare paychecks

    Min Requirements:

    • Diploma of 1 to 3 years / NQF level 6
    • 3 - 5 years' experience
    • VIP Premier Payroll
    • NBCRFLI (bargaining council) experience preferred
    • MS Excel advanced
    • Microsoft Office

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for capturing the bi-weekly and monthly attendance registers into excel from manual forms.
    • Insert complex formulas for the attendance registers
    • Ensure accuracy of the attendance registers.
    • Submit attendance register to Financial Manager for approval and formula check
    • Process leave onto VIP and NBCRFLI site
    • Ensure all leave forms are submitted and accounted for
    • Prepare Performance Based Reward (PBR) calculations on attendance register and submit to site HR office
    • Receive all PBR adjustments from site HR office
    • Amend and finalize PBR figures and submit to payroll administrator
    • Prepare stats per fortnight on PBR figures and submit to director
    • Assist payroll administrator with payroll queries
    • Complete exit documents (withdrawal forms, UI19 certificates & certificate of service)
    • Confirm employment of employees with 3rd parties.
    • Review monthly payroll
