POSITION:
GROW - Co-ordinator
REPORTS TO:
Branch Manager
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The responsible person ensures that all GROW Daily operations regarding stakeholder liaison, team schedules, equipment and work is implemented and maintained.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Meeting up with potential business clients and help to formulate quotes as per their request.
- Present requested quotes to be administered with the assistance of the Administrator.
- Scheduling and implementing shifts according to the budget.
- Motivating and mentorship of participants.
- To see that the shelter beneficiaries attend two spiritual sessions every week and a developmental session weekly.
- Selection and training of Team Leaders, A team and 1st Team participants.
- Deployment of teams making sure the teams have the adequate equipment, dress code, protective clothing and they know their allocated area and duty.
- Accompany any adhoc teams or special requested teams to their work sites.
- Overseeing teams return helping supervisors solve issues at report back/signing off time.
- Follow up of teams in the field, training and rating of Team Leaders.
- Identification of hot spots field reports (pictures taken before and after)
- Handling of complaints and disputes according to disciplinary and complaints procedures.
- Facilitating disciplinary issues, warnings, coaching and informing other departments of decisions made in liaison with branch manager
- Keeping record of participants' scores and shifts and submit supporting documents to branch administrator for payment.
- Prepare for next day shifts assisting the supervisor.
- To ensure all depots have adequate equipment and materials. Check all returned tools/equipment if in order and report any defects or those needing attention or repair.
- Liaise with drivers re worker schedules and transport if additional pickup need another driver.
Administration
- To do filing of all documents accordingly
- To make sure all copies needed are available
- Administer all team leader training schedule and meetings
- Make inventory of equipment and materials
- To prepare stipends to be paid every fortnight
- To prepare monthly stats
- Coordinate weekly pickup point schedule and liaise with all partners.
Reporting
Reports to the Branch Manager
- Monthly, and when requested
- Give feedback on beneficiaries to social workers as part of monitoring behavioural change monitoring.
REQUIREMENTS
Ø Social Auxiliary Work qualification OR any relevant qualification regarding recycling.
Ø Experience in the Non Profit Sector would be an advantage
Ø Ability to build relationships
Ø Strong administrative, reporting and communication skills
Ø Drivers Licence
Ø Lead People
Ø Planning & Organising
Ø Team work
Ø Need to be able to sell an idea to potential business partners and negotiate deals.
