What will you do?
This role is positioned within Santam Tied Agency Distribution, operating within the Sanlam Distribution Channel.

The role will support the growth objectives of STA by delivering on a key Valaue proposition i.e STA's ability to provide leads to the Sanlam Tied Agents.

And will further support the vision to be the Distribution Channel of choice within the group. What will make you successful in this role?

  • To identify lead opportunities internally (Sanlam and Santam) and external to current environment
  • Increase the number of leads
  • Acquire new lead channels
  • Increase current conversion rate i

e Lead:

  • Initiating campaigns to drive lead opportunities
  • Coordination with supporting functions and divisions i.e marketing, operational support, project team
Qualifications and Experience
Business management qualification - Minimum NQF level 6
Short Term Insurance Qualification
- min NQF
  • Advantageous

Experience:

Minimum 5 years financial services industry experience - Short Term Insurance
Marketing experience
Key Account Management
Sales Experience Skills required
Ability to think and plan strategically
Strong negotiating skills
Microsoft
Commercial Lines and Personal Lines product knowledge
Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge (FAIS accredited)
Strong administrative and operational skills and knowledge
Financial Services Product Knowledge (Santam, Niche and competitors)
Good understanding of Sanlam distribution environment
