Creative Marketing Coordinator - Cape Town, South Africa - Dermastore

Description

A multi-functional creative marketing role that will assist our in-house and external content teams in the execution and development of a broad-range of materials ranging from, but not limited to: Original product and lifestyle photography, photo shoot styling, photo retouching, graphic design, editing CMS posts, banners, products, as well as editing marketing videos and podcasts.

Scope of work ranges from smaller team in-house content, to working on sponsored brand campaigns with partners from global corporations.

REQUIREMENTS:


Qualifications:
marketing, film, photography, art direction, or design-associated Degree or Diploma
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and/or Audition)
Excellent eye for quality and tasteful design
Excellent ability to understand and execute on creative briefs
Excellent ability to follow due process and deliver materials timeously
Excellent project/production coordination and planning skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess impressive creative thinking as well as execution skills
An out-of-the-box thinker and an in-the-box doer
Intermediate (or beginner) photography retouching experience or training (Photoshop)
Intermediate (or beginner) video or audio editing experience or training (Premiere/Audition/FCP)
Some studio photography (DSLR/mirrorless) experience, training, skills or knowledge
A personality well-suited to continually contributing positively to creative environment
A personality that would work well within a small, highly-focused team driven by quality of execution
Can operate and think independently and with ingenuity (once all necessary tools and briefing materials have been provided)
Emotionally intelligent with excellent self-awareness
Excellent aptitude for learning and developing new skills
