- Co-ordinate production in the Casting (Foundry) and Drawing Departments ensuring all quality, environmental, health and safety matters are complied with.
- Responsible for ensuring that the business complies with all relevant SHEQ legislation, company policies and procedures, minimum requirements and permit requirements.
- Coordination of the implementation, maintenance and administration of the ISO Quality management system will also form part responsibilities.
- Ensure production targets are met.
- Ensure shop floor operators are competent (trained).
- Matric / Grade 12 NQF 4
- Qualified Mechanical Artisan and/or B. Mechanical Engineering
- Health and Safety related Diploma
- Safety and Health Training Courses e.g. SHEQ, SAMTRAC, HIRA, Accident Investigations
- Quality Training Courses e.g. ISO 9001
- Experience in heavy metal engineering
- ISO9001 quality management system
- Production and financial planning
- Computer Literacy, good Knowledge of MS Office
