We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, customer-focused Sales professional to join our Le Boat Sales team in Cape Town.
Le Boat is the world's leading provider of inland waterway boating holidays.

Currently operating 37 bases in 9 countries, with a fleet of 950 charter boats, we attract more than 120,000 customers from all over the world each season.

A global business working in 45 sources markets around the world with 6 sales offices (UK, Canada, Germany, France, South Africa & Australia).

We are looking for a motivated Sales Agent, with a drive for customer service and sales.

The main objective of this role is to sell our extraordinary range of Le Boat products to our German-speaking customers, booking trips to our UK, Ireland, and French destinations.


We can offer a flexible approach to your working pattern, 1-2 days per week spent in our Century City office and then the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

The working hours are to reflect the German timezone and this can adapt to daylight savings time.

This role is Monday to Friday with the exception of 1 in every 6 weeks when you will be working a Saturday shift.

  • We require you to be fluent in the German language (written and verbal) and have a good understanding of English in order to give the best customer experience to our German based customers
  • Prior experience in a sales and customer service role is crucial
  • You will need to be customer driven with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Able to prioritize tasks and be flexible when needed
  • Be organised and able to meet expected timelines
  • Proficient with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Lastly, a passion for travel and boating is always welcome
