    Description

    Software Engineering Team Lead

    We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to join our Financial Services (Insurance) engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate group of individuals who are revolutionizing the industry.

    The ideal candidate will be a technical expert, a team leader, and a problem solver. You will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products while continuously enhancing processes and encouraging a collaborative work environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of 2-5 software engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
    • Take ownership of product or project development, ensuring quality standards, deadlines, and user requirements are met.
    • Drive expertise in PHP, Symfony, microservices architecture, domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, CI/CD, and guide the team in applying these effectively.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development workflows.
    • Work in an Agile and Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
    • Build strong working relationships within the team and influence multi-teams to align with project goals.

    Key Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a senior software engineer or team lead, with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
    • Strong proficiency in PHP and Symfony, along with experience in microservices, domain-driven design, and hexagonal architecture.
    • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and a track record of successfully leading Agile development teams.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and guiding team members.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward addressing technical challenges.

    Additional Skills:

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and infrastructure support.
    • Experience working alongside Test Analysts, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other team leads to achieve project goals.
