    Job Purpose:

    We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee organisational projects, monitoring project status, cross-project dependencies, and delivery progress on an ongoing basis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Mitigate project blockers related to product deliveries
    • Ensure consistent application of project governance processes and decisions
    • Provide input to budgeting process per project portfolio
    • Drive adoption of Jira, Confluence, and other designated tools
    • Collaborate with PMO Manager, Development Teams, Product Managers, and stakeholders to facilitate delivery and remove impediments
    • Contribute to streamlining, adapting, and standardizing new processes and artifacts across Solution Delivery
    • Deliver high-quality results across the entire project lifecycle
    • Coordinate project audits as needed
    • Manage customer expectations for project deliverables
    • Perform risk assessments and develop response strategies
    • Monitor performance of project team members and provide feedback

    Process Management:

    • Develop and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives for best practices in Project Management
    • Coach teams on software development methods and technical and operational practices
    • Manage software development methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, XP, LSD, and FDD
    • Build competency with project teams and operations teams in developing project metrics
    • Provide leadership through meaningful performance metrics and status reports using Jira dashboards and other tools
    • Proactively identify risks, drive timely mitigation, and escalate to management when necessary

    Project Planning and Management:

    • Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope during project execution
    • Define project scope and schedule, focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
    • Support stakeholders in planning sprint iterations
    • Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing
    • Track project milestones and deliverables
    • Identify and resolve problems with project personnel
    • Submit project deliverables, ensuring quality standards
    • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
    • Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel
    • Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Establish and execute a project communication plan
    • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects
    • Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans
    • Monitor performance of project team members and provide feedback
    • Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials
    • Identify initial or supplemental project resource needs
    • Select vendors or consultants to meet project requirements

    Team Management:

    • Foster inspirational leadership to create accountable, full-service teams that understand and meet stakeholder needs
    • Model behaviour and motivate team members aligned with core values
    • Take responsibility for direct reports' performance, motivating and managing them regarding quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives

    Education:

    • Postgraduate qualification in Project Management (PMP) or related discipline
    • Postgraduate qualification in Information Technology or related discipline advantageous

    Experience:

    • Minimum 4+ years of project management required, with at least 3 years using Lean/Agile methodologies
    • Knowledge of MS Project, JIRA (preferred), advanced MS Office skills
    • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to manage Agile and Non-Agile projects
    • Minimum 2 years experience of managing a team
