    About This Job

    We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and formulating strategies to win new business.

    • Key Responsibilities:
      • Achieve sales targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and client engagement.
      • Identify and pursue new business opportunities at various levels.
      • Develop and implement strategies to successfully acquire new business and increase market share.
      • Manage relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and retention.
      • Create and implement SOPs, SLAs, and other relevant documents to ensure operational efficiency.
      • Provide regular reporting on sales performance and progress towards targets.
      • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes, and skill requirements to maintain expertise.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Matric qualification as a minimum.
    • Proven experience in clearing and forwarding sales, with a minimum of 3 years' track record.
    • Formal sales training and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to negotiate effectively and interpret financial information.
    • Strong computer literacy and ability to create and implement strategies.
    • Ability to work in a target-driven environment with high pressure.
