    Job Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you will need to be proficient in a range of technologies including SQL Transact, SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.

    • Must have a strong understanding of SQL concepts and be able to develop, maintain, and support data products and services.
    • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as IT is required.
    • No less than 5 years of experience working with SQL, specifically in warehouse, data lake, or data vault development using SSIS and SQL Transact.
    • At least 5 years of experience working in the financial services industry, preferably in areas such as asset management or hedge funds.
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is essential.

    Key Competencies

    The ideal candidate will possess a range of technical skills including proficiency in SQL back-end development, BI development experience, and fluency in SQL Transact, SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.

    • Thoroughbred SQL back-end developer with experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting data products and services.
    • BI development experience, particularly in Power BI, is an advantage.
    • Not a database administrator, but DBA experience is advantageous.
    • Fluency in SQL Transact, SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
    • Ability to elicit and document requirements from data clients, without being dependent on technical specifications or business requirement documents.
    • Experience using BIMLFLEX, Visual Studio, or MDS is desirable.
