Minimum Requirements

  • This job might be for you if:
  • You hold a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/ Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or PSM II) OR PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner OR Certified Scrum Product Owner (SCPO) certification
  • You have an understanding of Kanban and Lean Software Development
  • You have any other relevant Agile certifications

Job Specification
The Product owner / Scrum master is a dual role, sitting with one incumbent.


Duties:


Manage Product Backlog:
in collaboration with the CLIO, this role will maintain the product backlog,

which includes defining and refining the product features, setting priorities, and determining which

features will deliver the most value.

Sprint Planning:
Define tasks/tickets associated with upcoming sprints

  • Backlog grooming
  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: facilitates all Scrum events, such as daily standups, sprint planning,
sprint review, and sprint retrospective.

  • Protect the Team from Interruptions: helps to shield the team from external interruptions and
distractions that could impede the team's progress towards the sprint goal.

  • Remove Obstacles: helps to remove any impediments that are obstructing the team from doing its
work. They might help resolve conflicts, address technical problems, or navigate organizational

bureaucracy.

  • Define and

Communicate Product Requirements:
responsible for defining and communicating the

requirements for the product to the development team. This can involve writing user stories,

acceptance criteria, or any other necessary documentation.

  • Accept or

Reject Work Results:
Has the authority to accept or reject the work results based on

whether they meet the specified criteria. They ensure that only completely finished and high-quality

features are shipped.

  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: the voice of the customer in the development team. Ensure that the
product meets the needs and expectations of the customers.

  • Product Performance Analysis: responsible for tracking and reporting on the product's performance
and its overall impact on business objectives.

  • Risk Management: capable of identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks associated with the
product.

  • Coach the Team: serves as a coach, guiding the team to higher levels of maturity and performance.
